One of the key use cases of Thrizer is flexible, secure, and fast payment processing to collect your fee for appointments.
Your Payments Dashboard in your Thrizer account is where you can perform any action or access any information related to client payments. The dashboard is made up of a few key modules:
Clients can use any Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express card to pay for your appointments. This includes HSA and FSA cards!
Since payments and claim submissions happen simultaneously with Thrizer, it is best to charge clients after the appointment happens. It can be complicated to void the claim once submitted to insurance, so it is best to make sure the claim is submitted with the most accurate information.
Your Thrizer Balance shows the amount of funds that are pending for payout on the next payout date. Anytime you charge a client on Thrizer, the net payment will be stored in your Thrizer Balance.
You can see your Thrizer Balance at any time from the Payment Dashboard.
Your client's card can be declined for a variety of reasons, including insufficient funds, overdue balance, expired or canceled cards, or fraud protection from the issuing bank. In any of these cases, the charge will be declined in real-time and you will be notified of the decline reason. The payment will not go through and the claim will not be submitted.
You will need to connect directly with the client to remedy this.
Security is one of our highest priorities at Thrizer. When it comes to sensitive financial data, such as credit card information, we work with trusted, established 3rd parties to store and secure the data. This includes our partners at Stripe and Plaid.
