Setting up your Thrizer Account

Setting up your Thrizer account takes minutes. There are three basic steps you need to take to start paying for and saving on out-of-network therapy with Thrizer.

Adding Insurance Information

Entering your insurance information is how we link up to your insurance to check your out-of-network benefits, submit claims, and facilitate your reimbursements.

Adding a Payment Method

You will connect a payment method to your Thrizer account to pay for appointments with your out-of-network provider.

Select a Payment Type

Payment Types determine how much you will pay upfront when seeing your provider for an appointment.

Thrizer has 3 different Payment Types:

Thrizer Pay: You pay your portion of the cost (the co-insurance), rather than pay in full and wait for reimbursement. Thrizer fronts your provider's rate.

This is only available once you have met your deductible, and comes with an extra 5% fee.
OON Pay: You pay in full and wait for reimbursement. Every time you are charged, an OON claim is submitted automatically for you.

This is the default option for those who have OON benefits but have not met their deductible.
Self Pay: You pay in full and do not submit any claims. For those who do not have OON benefits or want to use their insurance.

You can change the your payment type at any time from your Account Settings (to change the Payment Type for all providers) or from the Clinicians tab (to change a Payment Type for a specific provider).

Connecting with your Provider(s)

You will connect with your provider(s) to start paying for your sessions via Thrizer. This will allow claims to be submitted to your insurance automatically, anytime you pay for an appointment.

You can connect with your provider either by accepting an existing invitation or by adding them via the Add Clinician button on your Clinician Dashboard.
